Due to the strained resources within my school, I was forced to utilize what text books we had left. That resulted in me having to use two differenttext books from two different years in order to read Romeo and Juliet. I decided that this could work , as long as I grouped my students into fours (assorted lexile levels) and provide each group with one of each text book, and a laptop compter with a website for Romeo and Juliet. Each text has different footnotes with regard to the play, and the websites offer even further explanation. Each group is given an opportunity to use their resources and arrive at understanding on their own - with an appropriate amount of guidance.
